Public profile visible
The profile returned account data. If one post is missing, check that post's removal notice and community rules.
Wondering “am I shadowbanned on Reddit?” Check public account visibility, understand an unclear result, and follow the right review or appeal path.
Use a username, u/username, or /u/username. This checks public signals only.

The profile returned account data. If one post is missing, check that post's removal notice and community rules.
A repeated difference between your signed-in view and the public view needs review. The checker cannot confirm an internal spam flag.
Review the account notice on Reddit for the stated reason and available appeal options.
Check spelling and the original profile link. A missing or ambiguous response is not proof that an account never existed or is banned.
Wait before retrying a rate limit, network error, or blocked request. Do not treat a service failure as an account result.
For account-wide concerns, follow Reddit's official account guidance. If you need to organize an appeal, use the appeal preparation guide.
Verify before you appeal
Compare the spelling with the original profile URL. If the tool could not complete a request, wait and retry before treating the error as an account finding.
Open the profile and a specific affected post or comment in a logged-out browser. Record which URL is missing and whether Reddit shows an access error or a removal message. The tool cannot perform your signed-in comparison.
Check the affected account's inbox and any account-level notice. If only one community or post is affected, review that community's rules and moderator message first.
The checker requests public account data. If that lookup cannot establish a visible profile, it checks a public profile-page response for more context. These are observations at the time of the request, not access to Reddit's internal moderation decisions.
A matching profile response supports a visible result. It does not prove that all content is visible or that the account has permission to post everywhere.
An explicit suspension or missing-profile response is reported separately. An ambiguous page cannot reliably distinguish a restricted account from an unavailable lookup.
Blocked access, rate limits, server errors, and missing data remain uncertain. We do not turn a failed request into a confirmed shadowban or claim to read internal spam flags.
Look for a reproducible difference in public visibility. A quiet thread or an unsuccessful lookup is not enough to diagnose an account restriction. Record a concrete example before making an appeal.
Observation: the account works for you, but the profile and several contributions appear unavailable publicly. A spam-related restriction is possible, but request failures can resemble it. Compare logged-out views and consult Reddit's account guidance.
Observation: Reddit displays a suspension notice or the public account data reports suspension. Check the notice on the affected account for the stated reason, scope, and review options. The checker cannot infer the violation from the signal alone.
Observation: the profile is visible, while one item or one community is affected. Read the removal reason and local rules, then ask moderators if needed. Account age and karma are separate checks; an appeal for an account-wide action may not be the right path.
Keep the affected username, the approximate start time and timezone, links to examples, and a short description of the difference between signed-in and public views. Include the exact notice if Reddit supplied one. Separate what you observed from what you suspect, then follow the official appeal form while signed in to the affected account. Do not share your password or authentication codes.
After checking the account, focus on the specific task: understand account facts, improve a draft, or clarify a community rule. No tool or paid plan can grant posting permission or guarantee protection from moderation.
